WELCOME

June 27th, 2009 by chris

Hello everybody, welcome to my personal blog.

My name is Christian and you will find more information about me on my pages.

In short I’m originally Austrian, born in Munich (Germany) and since April 2000 I live in Bali, Indonesia.

My girlfriend is Balinese and we live with 3 cats and 2 dogs not far from the airport and Kuta, the tourist center of Bali.

My background is in economics and I started my own business consulting company BICG in 2004 (see links and about me) which mainly focuses on sustainable development in all forms, from consulting to actual project development.

My girlfriend Komang works in the diving business and enjoys diving herself, while I do not have enough time lately to do a lot of diving.

I play tennis 2 or 3 times a week and in the rest of our free time we enjoy being with our cats and dogs, watching movies, go to the cinema, dinners, tours around Bali or traveling in Indonesia or abroad.

In this blog I share my social and business activities as well as experiences and I hope some of you might find the information provided useful.

I’m not an expert on the IT, so please bear with me while I’m figuring all of it out.

As we have a lot of exciting projects both for-profit and non-profit I hope you can use this blog to get to know me better and to decide for yourself if you would like to join us, work with us, collabotrate or recommend us or to just share thoughts, opinions and innitiatives in a global society.

It is my pleassure to get to know you and I’m looking forward to your feedback.

Best wishes from Bali

Christian
